Do not purchase this washing machine After 3 months of owning this machine it got mold so badly I brought it to LGS attention they did absolutely nothing. Since then its gotten much worse. The washing machine smells so gross and wasnt washing my clothes they stunk. I called and demanded someone come look at it. Come to find out it was so full of mold the water valves were clogged with mold and wasnt washing my clothes properly. It was putting disgusting mold water in every load. They wont do anything about it. I was given a 15 off coupon to buy another washer. Do not buy LG. It has been making my son and sick from such bad mold and they wont do anything about it except offer me a coupon to buy another unit. I have children and to know Ive been washing there clothes with mold water is repulsive. I bought a mold kit and cleaning tabs. It did nothing to fix the mold. Dont buy this unit.
Not to mention when the LG technician came out to look at my washing machine. The mold was so badly infested in the unit and motor. He wouldnt even let me clean it. He just put it right back together. How disgusting to know how much mold is in there that I cant even clean. Just disgusting.

Really love this washer Its super easy to use and has great features. I highly recommend getting the pedestal for it. Id read reviews and agree that its really helpful to have it raised. This washer is very quiet compared to my 16 year old washer it replaced and its solid...doesnt vibrate and move unlike my old one. Love love love it. Highly recommend

Over the years Ive used various brands of washers and dryers. It was time to upgrade my set and several factors influenced my decision. The initial appearance and appeal seemed like a perfect fit for my laundry room.
Regarding features when compared with similar brands this one stood out because it included all the modern features one could need such as delicate/wool steam heavy load and customizable load options. You can tailor the cycles to your preference and they yield tangible results.
The machine runs pretty quietly and the interactive app is quite user-friendly with numerous options. Ive used Wi-Fi and app-connected machines before which were merely functional but this one works exceptionally well. The notifications are instant and the online features integrate seamlessly with its functionality. As I write this review I just received a notification that the wash cycle is complete.
In summary it looks very stylish in the laundry room with a pleasing color combination. It can handle heavy loads without straining the drum runs quietly even on heavy settings is easy to use and most importantly cleans much better than any other brand Ive previously used.
However there is room for improvement. The touch buttons while adequate could be a bit more sensitive to touch.
And yes comparatively the energy consumption is lower.

It washed good for about three months. Then all of a sudden it started snagging my clothes and sheets. It even does it on the gentle cycle. Has had two repairman out there and they give me ridiculous excuses of why its happening and they cant figure out why no one is listening to me I am more than on happy right now. I paid a lot of money for this washing machine.

It washes clothes fine. However it smells awful right out of the box. It has an awful oil smell to it inside the drum. I thought it was because it was new and boxed up just needed to air out for a bit that was not the case at all. I tried every remedy out there vinegar leaving door open after washingalthough I knew it was not a mold issue and told them that I ran the cleaning cycle etc. I finally had the repair man out to tell me it was normal and I was using too much soap. Funny cause the machine came with the smell. I will never buy another LG product mostly because of their service next they dont seem to stand behind their product. My clothes smell like oil. Its ridiculous. Dont buy this machine. Its garbage

I love my new LG front load washer. It can wash much larger loads of laundry than my prior LG top load washer that I also thought was great until after 10 years it finally died.
My laundry looks cleaner with this new washer.
The dial to choose which laundry cycle you want to use could be improved. It does not have any mark or indentation on the knob that matches up to the cycle you want to select. It only has a light that comes on for making a selection. Thus if the light doesnt work there is no way to choose a wash cycle. Slightly confusing.
My washer was delivered on 11/20/2023 and even though Ive only had it a short period of time I feel confident that I made a perfect choice.

I had the washer and dryer delivered and installed on Black Friday and have used both numerous times for clothes bed sheets and comforters. Theyve performed amazingly for all of the washing and drying. The machines are quiet and it seems like theyre also faster than our old ones. So far I am loving both

We are on our third washing machine since July 8. The first machine arrived with a dent in it so the installers wouldnt deliver it. The second machine exploded dented itself along with the washing drum dislodged and plastic side handles blown out. The third machine so far is working as one would hope.

So far this unit has been great but it took two tries. The first one arrived with a bad or poorly installed front door seal. Due to this it made a horrendous noise and then flooded my entire laundry room. The replacement unit has been flawless.

The washer does not work. I have tried for two weeks to get a repair scheduled but LG has not called back nor do they take my concerns seriously. This was a BRAND NEW machine and it has not worked since cycle one- it starts and then turns off Horrible customer service.

My wife and I were very excited to receive our new LG Washer and Dryer. After reading the reviews of customers and checking out the reviews from Consumer Reports which rates our models as being Top Rated and Recommended we waited anxiously for them to arrive. First thing we washed was our Cal-King Comforter which would never fit in our 9 yr old 4.2 cu ft Washing Machine. Its always been a huge pain sending our Comforter out to be cleaned. What used to take about 2-3 days to be cleaned from our local Cleaners has now turned into 7-10 days due to Covid according to them. Now we are here to tell you our new LG 5.2 cu ft washer tackles our large Cal-King Comforter with ease And talk about Clean...all our loads of Laundry for some reason seems so much cleaner and brighter The use of the TURBO WASH feature I believe is credited for this but either way we have never been more impressed and completely satisfied with a Washer and Dryer purchase. Hats off and thank you to LG...definitely a home run

I love the LG front loader. The only reason it didnt get a 5 is that the small drainage tube use to drain excess water is extremely slow. Took me 15 min. to get it drained. And when opening the cylinder next to it after a wash water pours out if it hasnt been drained.

I bought this set with the anticipation of doing fewer loads. With the Mega capacity in mind Ive easily gone from 6 loads a week to just 3. It even fits a King size comforter with room to spare for sheets. It pairs nicely with my phone in the LG app which gives notifications when loads are running and finish. Keeps me on top of laundry so I dont forget to swap loads and get behind. Has definitely lived up to my expectations and beyond
