I bought this 4 months ago and it stopped working. I have contacted LG they sent a technician out. He was very rude He told me there was nothing wrong with the dryer and we needed an electrician. After paying an electrician to come out on a holiday he showed there was the right power to the dryer.

Miserable. Within a day of purchase this dryer had flashing error lights. A load of towels that took 55 minutes in our old dryer took almost two hours in this dryer. Youre better off with half loads. The supposed smart diagnosis does not connect to the app. On the sensor dry modes two blankets were on for four minutes before the dryer shut itself off. The dry light is blinking since the third load of laundry run thru the dryer. Throw in the fact that Lowes has been no help. My electric bill will be up huge because of the increased time I am wasting trying to get stuff dried. Not happy.

Weve only had it a week but seems fine. However initially it was drying which is why we got rid of our old one. Researched troubleshooting on line which lead us to cleaning out the vent tubing. It was totally blocked and we got tons of junk out. All is well nowbut I felt compelled to put out a warning for folks to check their dryer vent hoses a minimum of yearly. This could be a huge fire hazard. We were so lucky and will now add it to our calendar for a yearly check.

My sister-in-law bought this dryer 11 months ago on August 31st 2023. It worked for 10 months and quit. It will not start when you push the start button. LG was contacted and supposedly the parts were ordered. Its been approximately a month with no parts delivered and the dryer which is still under warranty has not been repaired. She should get a new dryer free of charge from LG for the aggravation and such. My sister-in-law is carrying her clothes to the laundry mat to dry her clothes. Whats up with this LG?

Initially I was disappointed after 2 months the dryer would shut off after 5 minutes of running after speaking with LG customer service support I was informed that the dryer has a heat sensor on it and if anything was behind the dryer it would shut off. Sure enough one of my babys socks fell behind the dryer and kept it from completing its drying cycle. I am very pleased and feel safe knowing that my dryer has a sensor that can shut the dryer down when something is behind it and will prevent a fire.

The dryer is fine. The delivery and installation was the problem. The delivery crew called ahead of time to tell me they had no tools to do the install. All that was needed was a Phillips screwdriver. so they dropped off the dryer in its box and just left it.

While I like the large capacity I do not understand and have not been able to select a dry cycle medium low or high that will be an-energy saver cycle on the manual dry. When I select normal on the sensor dry the energy saver does show on but there is no heat and after a good while the heat comes on.. How can that be saving energy?

Worst decision ever This wasnt even the cheapest dryer and was the 3rd up from the cheapest and you would think it would be good Nope the dumb sensor thinks my clothes is dry and indeed is not so im wasting my time over and over drying pushing buttons for it to work and nope Takes 3 hours for a small load to dry. Ive gotten my dryer vents cleaned out so thats not the issue. I call manufacturer they useless as well cant help say its my fault. Ive gone back and worth and now stuck with a dumb dryer wasting my electricity. Dont get me started on the diagnostic thing it supposedly has... why put that on there if it wont work with the dryer. Worst dryer ever

Dryer messed up at 11 months of owning it. Luckily it was still under manufacture warranty got new motor 3 fuses replaces new screen and now the heat blower is messed up. Horrible to be paying for something thats didnt last. Washer has to be set on deep fill in order for tub to fill and clothes to be washed correctly. Never again LG.

I bought this a few weeks ago it dried two loads of laundry.I went online to set up a repair request it was down they said wanted to do a check via textthey ran various test remotely.Got it running but it still would not dry.I eneded up calling themLG they told me i had to deal with Lowestheir policy is 48 hour return on all major appliances so i missed that window.Because they didnt set it up they wont touch it.So now i have a cjoice either pay even more money to have it repaired or get another dryer.I am going to get another dryer i WILL NOT NOR RECOMMEND ANYONE to buy a LG dryer. I have heard form several others they had the same thing happen.So all in all i losr $578.00 on a crap dryer.

This dryer was bought for me in January of 2024 the weekend my brother died. I have had trouble since starting in Feb 2024 I did contact Lowes and they sent someone from ACN Appliance and diagnosed it with red sensor. It took them over a month to respond and someone else from Lubbock came to fix it but I am still having issues with the dryer turning off when drying. I have called numerous times and till this day I get the run around and now I received a text saying that I have to wait till May 31. This has been the worst customer service and the worst dryer. I am a single mom and having to go to peoples places or laundromat to dry clothes is ridiculous.

A few weeks ago our very old gas dryer gave up the ghost so. . .already having an LG washer and being very pleased with it we bought the LG electric dryer because of LGs reputation and reviews. . .and our experience with the washer. The dryer works well but takes a longer time to dry than the 20 year old gas dryer. Other than that its simple to operate has a satisfactory capacity and cheaper to operate for me because I have solar panels on my roof. I hope it will be better for the environment as well.
