The DVE-5300 uses an automotive-grade DVD mechanism for on-the-road reliability and has an optical output for an optional processor (processor sold separately). Media playback options include DVD Video, DVD+R/RW, CD-R/RW, DivX, JPEG, and MP3. When the DVE-5300 is used with the X108U or INE-W967HD, the HDMI capability from the mech-less Restyle dash system can be retained through the optional KCX-630HD HDMI Switcher (sold separately).MORE THAN JUST AN IN-DASH ADD-ON
